Abstract

Anthropogenic emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere come primarily from the combustion of fossil fuels and deforestation. Concentrations of carbon dioxide, along with other greenhouse gases, are expected to exacerbate the climate wanning trend and lead to a number of changes in the terrestrial biosphere. The purpose of this paper is to identify and project the sources of carbon dioxide emissions from combustion and conversion of natural gas in Alberta.
